Where to eat during Dutch Design Week

Nine days, hundreds of locations, a lot of walking between them. We are in the middle of it, and we do not do queues.

Dutch Design Week spreads across the whole city for nine days in October — Strijp-S, the centre, Sectie-C, the campus. Most visitors do two or three areas a day and eat somewhere in between, usually later than they planned.

Between locations

The centre is where people end up in the evening, and Kerkstraat is a short walk from Markt and from the bus stops that bring you back from Strijp. Our kitchen runs a short list on purpose: tacos, ceviche, a margarita. It is the sort of thing you can eat at seven and still make an eight o'clock talk.

Coming with a group of designers who cannot agree on anything? Shared dining solves it — everything comes to the middle of the table and you sort it out between you.

Worth knowing

DDW week is the busiest week of the Eindhoven year. We are open from five, the kitchen takes its last order at half past nine, and the bar keeps going. Book a table if you are with more than four.
