Eating before a night on Stratumseind

Three minutes from the longest pub street in the Netherlands. Eat first — you know why.

Stratumseind is the longest café street in the country and it does not need an introduction to anyone who has spent a Saturday in Eindhoven. What it does need is a plan for the hours before eleven.

The hour before

Kerkstraat runs parallel, three minutes away, and is a different kind of evening: you sit down, you eat, you have a margarita made properly rather than poured out of a jug. Then you go round the corner.

Worth knowing

Fridays and Saturdays are busy from seven onwards. Walk-ins are welcome and often fine, but a table booked is a table kept.
